B.Sc., Honours in Psychology, UNB;
Research Assistant

Research Interests: Workplace stress and coping mechanisms, organizational behavior and human resources management.

I completed my B.Sc. in Honours in Psychology at UNB in 2006. I conducted my honours thesis on adolescents' coping responses to psychosocial stress under the supervision of Dr. Ann Cameron. This initial research has now developed into an academic interest towards Industrial Psychology and Human Resources Management including such areas as workplace stress and wellbeing, occupational health and safety, organizational behavior, and personnel selection.

Currently, I am working in Dubai (UAE) as a Junior Administrative Manager at Postgraduate Institute of Management, International Centre, in hopes of gaining practical experience related to my research interests.

I volunteered in Dr. Poulin's lab with two research projects, one of which involved women's experiences surrounding Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and the medical institution, and the other on the formation of homosexual identity among lesbian and gay service members in the Canadian military. I worked on a variety of tasks for these projects such as transcribing interviews, coding interviews, and performing inter-rater reliability checks.
