While this site is not updated frequently, it has all the information, tips, and links needed for women using Macintosh computers. Step-by-step, MacMom gets you started with lists of commands and some things you can actually do on the Internet with your Macintosh. MacMom also has a list of tutors available for more personalized assistance.
Webgrrls Tech Support
A very handy resource for beginners and experts alike! Webgrrls International provides a forum for women in or interested in new media and technology to network, exchange job and business leads, form strategic alliances, mentor and teach, intern and learn the skills to help women succeed in an increasingly technical workplace and world. Their Tech Support section has tutorials and tips, downloadable tools, and even a forum where you can ask other women your technical questions.

This on-line document contains all that is needed to know for using the Internet and Open Source Software for activism. It addresses content from practical skills for Internet use, building web sites, and moving through to some of the applications and implications of the Internet for women's activism. The document as a whole emphasizes the need for women to be active participants on-line, and to take full advantage of the Internet and Open Sournce as tools in furthering activist goals.

One of the only web sites we've found that is specifically offering free women positive graphics. A variety of women's symbols are offered, as well as backgrounds and women friendly clip art.
