Sherri Egers is a MA candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of New Brunswick and is a research assistant to Dr. Carmen Gill director of the MMFC. Her areas of research interest are in the fields of family violence and social policy. She is currently involved in a pilot study with the Canadian Observatory collecting data on the effectiveness of the research instrument to assess the Canadian Criminal Justice System responses to intimate partner violence.
