Opportunities

We are always looking for motivated people to join our lab—whether they be undergraduates, graduate students, or postdocs.

Undergraduates:  You may be able to work in our lab as an Honours student, via an independent research project in 3rd or 4th year, or as an NSERC USRA student..  Contact Steve to learn more.

Graduate students and postdocs:  Financial support may be available, depending on your timing and on your research interests; or we can support you in an application for fellowship funding.  Here is some information about UNB’s graduate programs.  If you are interested, contact Steve with a brief summary of your research interests and a copy of your curriculum vitae.

Biology at UNB is home to a dynamic and collaborative group of researchers in ecology and evolution.  We interact regularly with research colleagues at other institutions in Fredericton, at our sister campus in Saint John, and with collaborators across Canada and elsewhere.  Biology also has a active Graduate Student Society whose members have lots of fun.  We are located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, a beautiful city of 95,000 on the banks of the Saint John River.  We love it here, and you will too!
