TRAVEL SUPPORT for Students and Postdoctoral Fellows:
As for Volvox 2011, once again, we wish to support the participation of students and postdoctoral fellows to Volvox 2013. We have applied for funds from several agencies and hope to at least be able to cover the registration fees for 15-20 students/postdocs.
To apply for travel support to attend Volvox 2013, please send an e-mail (indicate "Travel support" in the Subject line) to volvox2011@gmail.com, including the following information: Abstract, CV, short statement detailing the need for financial assistance, and a short letter from your supervisor/head of the lab confirming your student/postdoc status.
Deadline to apply for financial assistance is June 15th.

We are calling for submissions of your most amazing photographs, movies, paintings, drawings, poems and other artworks.
Prizes will be given in the following categories:
Best scientific photograph
Best scientific movie
Best drawing or painting
Best poem
Submission deadline: TBA
Submitted pieces will be exhibited in the lobby during the meeting.
Prizes will be announced during the Banquet, on Friday, August 2nd.
Also, we are calling submissions for a logo and design to accompany the printed conference materials.
