New CISTI Chair

Dr. Bruce J. Balcom has been named Chair of the Advisory Board for the Canada Institute for Science and Technical Information (CISTI). CISTI, an Institute within the National Research Council of Canada, is the National Science, Technology and Medicine Library for Canada. The Advisory Board is made up of leading national and international stakeholders from academic, business, library, and publishing sectors who are appointed by the NRC Senior Executive Council and serve renewable terms for 1-3 years. The Board provides key advice to the NRC Vice President, Technology and Industry Support and the CISTI management team on CISTI priorities, strategic directions and management.
