and Development Grant (3 years, $100,000/year)
An NSERC Collaborative Research and Development Grant has been awarded to Bruce
Balcom, UNB MRI Center, in collaboration with Petroleum Research Atlantic Canada
(PRAC). ACOA is also a funding partner and will provide $80,000 for equipment.
The grant 'MRI Measurement of Fluid Flow in Porous Media - Application to Enhanced
Oil Recovery' involves Dr. Romero-Zeron of UNB Chemical Engineering and Dr. Murray
Gingras of University of Alberta, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Corporate
partners also include Chevron Canada Resources and Schlumberger-Doll Research.
