Expedition to Mauritius - 1994

During the summer of 1994, Dr Peter Dare, another staff member and students from the School of Surveying spent 10 weeks on the island of Mauritius. The principle tasks were:

• The creation of a new contol network
• Providing precise control for the international airport

GPS equipment setup at Le Pouce - the datum point for the geodetic network of Mauritius.
