Expedition to Malta - 1993
During the summer of 1993, Dr Peter Dare, another staff member and a team of students from the School of Surveying spent 10 weeks in the Republic of the Malta. The primary tasks were:
- To create a new control network for the islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino
- To carry out an archaeological survey on Gozo
- To provide sea bed surveys for specific bays
- To assess critically the proposal for the establishment of a National Park
