GGE Running for the Cure

The GGE team, Breast Foot Forward (see first photo below), was able to raise over $1,300 through pledges, a bake sale, and the sale of chocolate bars. Those contributing their baking skills to the 27 September sale were Anya Duxfield, Kevin Pegler, Kim Delorey, Sylvia Whitaker, Terry (and his wife, Glenys) Arsenault, and Donna (Dr. Secord's wife) Hammond. Tracey Hawco Winchester also contributed goodies to the bake sale, but more importantly was the initiator, manager, organizer, and chief source of encouragement for both the run and the bake sale. Well done Tracey!!

On Sunday, 3 October, the Run for the Cure was held with 2,250 participating.
