November 21, 2011: Visit of a French delegation to the University of New Brunswick Saint John


On November 21, 2011, a marine-oriented and inter-disciplinary, delegation of 8 scientists from 5 institutions from Brittany, France, visited the Saint John campus of the University of New Brunswick (UNBSJ).

These presentations enabled an interesting exchange of ideas and for each party to better understand what the others are involved in, their domains of expertise and where common interests could be found for potential cooperation in the future. Tools available for creating and strengthening collaborations were explained by Mr. Duhaut. Given this information, co-supervision, or “cotutelle”, of PhD theses should be contemplated between the 5 institutions from Brittany and UNB.
